Former Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Endodontics at Yeni Yüzyıl University Faculty of Dentistry (2016–2019). Dr. Öztürk’s specialism is Turkish-trained and she is not on the UK GDC Specialist List. The formulation used throughout this site — “endodontist with specialist training” — reflects both her credentials and UK advertising standards.

Practice philosophy

Conservative-first. The native tooth is the reference.

An endodontist starts with the tooth that is still alive. That single fact changes how every subsequent question is answered. When the question is “implant or save?”, the answer begins with “can we save?”. When it is “ten veneers or four?”, the answer begins with “which four are actually indicated?”.

This is not a slower path — it is a more honest one. The patient who comes for a second opinion is, quite often, the patient who leaves without treatment. We consider that a successful visit.

Studied under Prof. Dr. Semih Özbayrak at Marmara University. Joined GC Clinic in 2014; took over clinical leadership in 2019 — preserving the academic foundation her mentor established while modernising the clinic's infrastructure (3D CBCT, Digital Smile Design, in-house CAD-CAM).

The way the first consultation usually goes

An hour. Honest. Without a sales angle.

If you have travelled to see us, you will not be booked into a ten-minute slot that ends with a quote. The first consultation is scheduled for an hour — sometimes longer — and it is with the doctor who will treat you. Photographs, CBCT, clinical exam, conversation. Then, usually the next morning, a written plan with options. And — about one time in five — a sentence that reads: “we would not recommend you have this done, and here is why.”
