" They told me no twice in London. Dr. Öztürk did not tell me yes — she told me what the CBCT actually showed, and gave me two options with the risks of each. I chose the slower one. Eleven months later, it is still the best decision I have made.

" I sent the quote from a London clinic expecting GC to say theirs was better. What came back was a two-page letter saying the London plan was sound, that only two teeth actually needed work, and that I should probably not travel for it.

" The thing I appreciated most was that they showed me my own CBCT on the screen and explained what each shadow meant. I had never been spoken to like an intelligent adult in a dental appointment before.

" I came for veneers. I left with composite bonding on three teeth and a whitening tray. They told me I did not need what I had come for. I sent three friends in the following year.

How we handle critical reviews

We answer them. We do not delete them.

Once or twice a year, a review arrives that we did not expect. Sometimes it reflects a genuine miss on our side; sometimes it reflects a misunderstanding. In either case: we reply publicly, we acknowledge the specific point, and — where a resolution is appropriate — we do what is required to reach one. Delete-and-replace is not a quality-management strategy.
